Air Curtains at Sacramento Airport

According to recent news reports, the fly population in the Sacramento area is larger than usual this year. Sacramento County Airport System is responding to the growing problem. The airport is installing air curtains at all entrances in Terminals A and B at Sacramento International Airport. Air curtains prevent flies and other insects from entering the buildings by shooting a stream of air downward any time a door opens. Installation of the new devices is expected to be complete by the end of October.
