Control Panels

Standard location: Factory installed on left-hand end plate of air curtain. Optional locations: Right-hand end plate or remote mounted.

Single-Phase Control Panels:

A single-phase control panel is required when:

  • A time delay is used
  • 24 volt control is used
  • When motor quantities exceed
    (1) 1 hp @ 120V or
    (2) 1 hp @ 208-240V

An activation switch must be selected along with the panel for activation of the air curtain.

Standard Control Panel Construction:

Hazardous Location

  • UL Classified NEMA 7 & 9 Aluminum Enclosure for Use in Class I, Division 1 & 2, Groups C & D Applications
  • IEC Style Contactor, Control Transformer w/ Primary and Secondary Fusing (120V Control Voltage) (as required), Fusing (as required), Din Rail Mounted Terminal Blocks (as required), Terminal Strip (as required), and Time Delay or 24V Control (as required)
Standard Control Panel Construction:

Non-hazardous Location

    • NEMA 4/12 Enclosure, Motor Contactor (factory wired), Terminal Strip, Fusing (as required), and Time Delay or 120V Control Transformer (as required)
    • Optional control panel enclosure constructions (non-hazardous location only): poly fiberglass, aluminum, stainless steel

Three-Phase Control Panels

All three-phase power supplies require a three-phase control panel and an activation switch.

Standard Control Panel Construction:

Hazardous Location

  • UL Classified NEMA 7 & 9 Aluminum Enclosure for Use in Class I, Division 1 & 2, Groups C & D Applications
  • IEC Style Contactor, Solid State Adjustable Motor Overload(s), Control Transformer w/ Primary and Secondary Fusing (120V Control Voltage), Fusing (as required), Terminal Strip, and Time Delay or 24V Control (as required)
Standard Control Panel Construction:

Non-hazardous Location

  • NEMA 4/12 Enclosure, Motor Contactor (factory wired), Terminal Strip, Fusing (as required), and Time Delay, 24 V Control, or 120V Control Transformer (as required)
