Berner’s 2025 Golf Outing Raises $11,155 for Lawrence County Humane Society

For its 2025 Golf Outing, Berner partnered with the Lawrence County Humane Society
(LCHS) to support the LCHS’s mission of ending animal cruelty and providing a safe
haven for lost pets and homeless animals. Through the generosity of employees,
vendors, and representatives, Berner collectively raised $11,155 and donated 500lbs of
pet supplies. All donations go directly toward providing food, shelter, medical care,
vaccinations, micro-chipping, spray/neuter procedures, and comfort to vulnerable pets
in Lawrence County.

Thanks to the generosity of Berner’s partners and employees, the Humane Society has
recognized Berner through its Naming Opportunity Program, mounting a plaque for
visitors and new adoption families to see as a lasting symbol of Berner’s commitment to
the community.

Previous Years and Impact
Over the past few years, Berner has partnered with local nonprofits to give back to the
community through a game of golf. Berner started the golf outings in 2023 with the goal
of giving back to those in need, while upholding its core values of teamwork, balance
and community. These events have continued to grow over the years, thanks to the
combined impact of vendors, representatives, customers, and employees.

Berner first partnered with Arise to empower survivors of abuse, raising $3,608 toward
its cause to help break the cycle of violence. In 2024, Berner partnered with American
Legion Post 117, raising $9,538 and collecting 603lbs worth of hygiene products,
snacks, water, socks, gloves, and hats. Berner donated a customized air curtain unit as
a tribute to their legion and its own service members. The air curtain was signed by
Berner’s veteran employees and now greets anyone who walks through the legion’s
front doors.
